Key Learning Areas

Introduction to coffee theory, including origins and brewing techniques.
Milk texturisation techniques to create smooth, creamy textures for lattes and cappuccinos
Hands-on demonstration of espresso shot pulling and machine handling
Role-playing in a simulated café environment to understand workflow and service dynamics

CLASS TIMELINE

Total Class Time: 4 hours

Demonstration: Students will take turns practicing how to pull the perfect espresso shots, with hands-on guidance.
Milk Texturisation: Students will be taught how to texture milk to achieve the ideal consistency. Each student will have the opportunity to practice using the machine.
Cafe Workflow: Students will engage in role-playing activities to simulate a real café environment, working in groups of two. At the end of the session, students will receive their Certificate of Appointment

Do I have to attend every Friday class?

No, this is a one-time session lasting 4 hours. Check for upcoming dates .

How do I make a payment to secure my spot?

To confirm your place in the course, payment is required at least 5 days before the selected class time.

Can I get a refund if I can't attend?

No, all payments are non-refundable. But you can reschedule to a future date.

What if I need to reschedule the class?

If you need to reschedule, please contact us at marketing@lauruseducation.com.au at least 48 hours before the session to arrange an alternative date

I have a Barista Class voucher, do I still need to pay?

No payment is required if you have a Laurus Education voucher.

Please bring the physical voucher with you to the class. If you forget the voucher, you will need to pay on the spot to attend the class.

Voucher Policy:

Students must present this voucher to enter the class. This voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Valid for one-time use and one user only. Expiration date applies. Not valid with other offers or promotions. Merchant reserves the right to amend or cancel this offer at any time without prior notice

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes, a certificate of completion will be provided to successful participants on the day of the course. Please note that this is a non-accredited course.
